Over the years, I have compiled a large collection of Spotify playlists. Each playlist serves a very specific purpose, and was created to represent a very specific feeling. Today I will go over some of my personal favorites and their purposes.

#1: stop being sad bestie <3

peaceful scenery

stop being sad bestie <3 is a playlist full of my favorite songs, ones that fill me personally with so much seritonin, it's basically impossible to be sad when listening to it.
Though the playlist is mainly filled with songs that bring me joy specifically, they are mainly upbeat songs that most other people find uplifting as well.

  3. Imagine (Zaz)
  4. Underdog (Alicia Keys)

#2: pov: you're the villain

The Joker

"pov" stands for point of view, which represents a TikTok trend where users present imaginary situations in which the viewer is the main character. This playlist works in a similar way. It is meant to make the listener feel like the villain in a movie, but in a good way.
The playlist gives off a mysterious, rebellious vibe that empowers the listener.

coffee time, previously named vibin, is the most calm, low-key playlist on the list. As its original name suggests, it is full of songs one can simply vibe to.
As the new name suggests, my personal favorite time to listen to these songs is when I'm relaxing in the morning with a nice cup of coffee.

#4: >:)

dark scenery

>:), previously named angsty teen moments, has a similar overall feel to pov: you're the villain. However, this playlist is instead meant to make the listener feel like the rebellious main character in a movie rather than the villain; it has more of bold feeling rather than a mysterious one. Though the two may sound similar, the situations in which the listener would choose to listen to them are slightly different, leading to the creation of two different playlists.
In order to fully understand the difference, one must listen to both and decide for themselves which one suits them and the mood they are in at a certain time.
